What You Will Do:
The IT Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day IT operations of the organization (United States and Europe), ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across all users. This role provides hands-on technical support, manages systems and accounts, and partners with internal teams and external vendors to maintain operational stability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization
- Troubleshoot and resolve service requests related to Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, and business applications
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, access controls, and equipment setup
- Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Administer Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, licenses, and groups
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventory, and user records
- Support identity management, MFA, and security policies
- Assist with endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability remediation efforts
- Coordinate and collaborate with managed service providers (MSPs) to support service delivery, escalate issues, and ensure alignment with organizational IT standards
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and fulfill requests
- Support IT projects, including system rollouts, office buildouts, and technology upgrades
- Support the development, documentation, and enforcement of IT policies and procedures
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of our SharePoint based intranet environment
Strengths You Will Bring To Our Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or system administration roles
- Experience supporting distributed or international teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, JAMF, or similar platforms)
- Understanding of IT security best practices and controls
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
