As a valued member of our user community, you’re committing to creating incredible, high-quality, and appropriate videos, images, and other content. We like to add "appropriate" because your contributions must be safe, legal, and in accordance with these Community Guidelines and Leia’s Terms & Conditions. We are clear about what we expect from users, and we may respond if you do not meet our expectations. These Community Guidelines and the Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Leia’s services and to all video, images, and other content you upload or share to or through Leia’s services. Please review them carefully.
We want Leia's content sharing services to provide a safe place for the community to express themselves. Help us foster this community. Post only your own videos, images, and other content. Always follow the law. Respect everyone. Don’t spam people or post nudity.
Leia’s users are a diverse community of cultures, ages, and beliefs. We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the different points of view that create a safe and open environment for everyone. We created these Community Guidelines so you can help us foster and protect this amazing community. By using Leia’s services, you agree to these Guidelines and our Terms & Conditions. We’re committed to these Guidelines, and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted videos, images, or other content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.
You will not use the Services in any manner prohibited by these Guidelines or the Terms & Conditions. Before posting, publishing, or otherwise sharing videos, images, or other content with others, you must give careful consideration to the potential physical, emotional, mental, financial, and reputational harm that it may have on others. Content that may be acceptable, harmless, satirical, artistic, or humorous to you might be perceived as harassing, threatening, intimidating, upsetting, disturbing, embarrassing, distressing, or hateful to someone else.
Share only videos that you've taken or have the right to share
As always, you are responsible for the videos, images, and other content you post on Leia's services, and you retain all rights in your content. Remember to post authentic content, and don’t post anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post.
Post videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience
We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Leia's services. This includes videos, images, and some digitally created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully nude buttocks. This restriction also includes some videos of female nipples, but videos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed.
People like to share videos of their children. For safety reasons, there are times when we may remove images that show nude or partially nude children. Even when this content is shared with good intentions, it could be used by others in unanticipated ways.
We all take a bad photo from time to time. Images, videos, and other content with poor quality or that are uncomfortable for users to view may be pulled down.
Foster meaningful and genuine interactions
Help us stay spam-free by not artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares, posting repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent.
Follow the law
Leia is not a place to support or praise terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Offering sexual services or buying or selling firearms or illegal or prescription drugs (even if it’s legal in your region) is also not allowed. Remember to always follow the law when offering to sell or buy other regulated goods. Accounts promoting online gambling, online real money games of skill or online lotteries must get our prior written permission before using any of our services.
We have zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others.
Respect other members of the community
We want to foster a positive, diverse community. We remove content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages. We do generally allow stronger conversation around people who are featured in the news or have a large public audience due to their profession or chosen activities.
It’s never OK to encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. When hate speech is being shared to challenge it or to raise awareness, we may allow it. In those instances, we ask that you express your intent clearly.
Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety aren’t allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible.
Maintain our supportive environment by not glorifying self-injury
Encouraging or urging people to embrace self-injury is counter to this environment of support, and we’ll remove it or disable accounts if it’s reported to us. We may also remove content identifying victims or survivors of self-injury if the content targets them for attack or humor.
Be thoughtful when posting newsworthy events
Each of us is an important part of the Leia community. If you see something that you think may violate our Guidelines, please help us by using our built-in reporting option. We have a global team that reviews these reports and works as quickly as possible to remove content that doesn’t meet our Guidelines.
We may remove entire posts if either the imagery or associated captions violate our Guidelines. You may find content you don’t like, but doesn’t violate the Community Guidelines. If that happens, you can unfollow the person who posted it. If there’s something you don’t like in a comment on one of your posts, you can report that comment.
Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your videos or images was posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you can report it. If you believe someone is violating your trademark, you can file a report. Don’t target the person who posted it by posting screenshots and drawing attention to the situation, because that may be classified as harassment.
We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
Suspension or Termination
Any violation of these Community Guidelines or the Leia Terms & Conditions may result in the suspension or termination by us, in our sole discretion, of your access to and use of the Leia services (including a permanent ban and you will forfeit any remaining credits and fees paid for the services). We MAY CHANGE the Leia services at our sole discretion. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of any suspension, termination, or change to you, but may do so without notice if, in our sole judgment, we need to make changes to comply with the law, protect or enforce legal rights, avoid or mitigate misuse of the Leia services or adverse legal or regulatory impacts on us, or otherwise to address or prevent an emergency. If we disable your account for a violation of the Community Guidelines or the Leia Terms & Conditions or for any other reason based on your conduct, you may not create another account without our express permission, which we may withhold in our sole discretion. If we let you create a new account, it does not imply that our prior decision to disable your account was wrong or without cause. Suspension or TERMINATION of your access to and use of the services will not terminate Leia's rights to your content (as described in the Terms & Conditions).
Preservation and Disclosure
Without limiting the foregoing, you acknowledge and agree that Leia may preserve your content, including your video, images, and other content, and may also disclose the same if required to do so by law or in Leia's good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process, applicable laws or government requests; (b) enforce these Terms; (c) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Leia, its officers, employees, directors, shareholders, licensors, service providers, agents, and the public.
